FIRE AT HOKITIKA.

(Pse Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Nov. 9. A fire occurred at 9.30 o’clock last night in the Masonic Hotel. It had a big hold when discovered. The brigade, aided by a fine water supply, made a brilliant save. The upper storey was gutted'. The insurance amounted to £7OO in the South British on the building, but there was nothing on the slock or furniture. The proprietor’s (W. Stewart’s) loss is considerable.
