PANIC IN THE BUTTER MARKET

The Morning Post’s Copenhagen correspondent states' that the fixing of a- maximum of 229s has caused a. panic in the butter market. Many exporters have shipped quantities at _4sos ; and if those supplies do not, arrive in time, they will create a heavy loss. Exporters are inclined to discontinue sending butter to England, especially as the Danes are unable to obtain enough for their own use.
