NGAURUHOE STILL ACTIVE.
(Phr Press Association.) AUQKLAND, Nov. 6. The activity of Ngauruahoe continues. The correspondent of the Auckland Herald telegraphs:—Several violent eruptions occurred during last night, ejecting boulders and lava, which were accompanied by vast masses of flame and .smoke. The valley in the direction of Tongariro has been filled with lava emitted from a crevice which has opened in tho upper wall of the crater. The prolonged activity has created alarm among the residents in the neighbourhood, whose houses are repeatedly shaken by the shocks of the eruptions.
