In the results of the Imperial Challenge Shield shooting competition lor ' Empire schools, New Zealand appears exceedingly well placed in the prize li.st. The' New Plymouth Boys' high School wins the fifteenth and fuitysixth orizes in the senior competition and is* twentieth in the junior. The Christclvurch Boys' High School is twenty-filth in the senior; Nelson Collego forty-ninth in the senior; Queens Park School Cadets twenty-fourth in the junior. Great Britain won fifty prizes, including the Junior Shield. Australia won 27, including the Senior Shield; Canada eleven, and New Zealand seven, the West Indies one. Slid South Africa one.
