CONSCRIPTION TIDE RISING.. FEDERAL PREMIER RETICENT.. Received November 7, 8.45 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 7. The conscription tide is rising. A number of State Recruiting Committees are resigning as a. protest against, the continuation of til© voluntary system. MELBOURNE, Nov. 7. The University Council lias resolved to urge the enlistment of all students of military age. Mr Hughes declines to make a statement on the position till after to-day's Cabinet meeting.
