NATIVE RISING.
A MISSIONARY KILLED. (Peg Press Abrooiatton.) BRISBANE, Nov. 5. A, general rising of the natives at Moriiington Island. Gulf of Carpentaria, is reported. The Presbyterian Mission was he sieged for ten days. 'Hie Rev. Robert Hall was shot, dead, and his assistant, Valter Owens, was wounded, but he escaped in the mission boat with the wives and children, and reached Burkel.own.
