The Daily Chronicle's Amsterdam correspondent says: Ilertling finds the Chancellorship difficulties insuperable. ■ A majority oar tv of the representatives have declared themselves against Ilertling because he opposed Alsace-Lorraine being made a Federal State, and also opposed all kinds of parliamentary government. It is reported that a plot exists to put forward many impossible candidates in an effort to exhaust the Kaiser’s patience and secure liethmann Holhveg’s return to office.
