THE MARK OF THE HUN.
PIERS LOADED WITH MUNITIONS' FIRED. BRITISH STEAMER SUNK. DAMAGE FIVE MILLIONS. Received November 1, 8.40 a.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 31. A fire at Baltimore destroyed piers loaded with munitions intended for France, the damage amounting to five millions. A British steamer alongside the piers ignited; the anti-submarine shells with which she was loaded exploded and the steamer sank.
