A representative- meeting of the Jugoslavs of Auckland province held to-day readinned its loyalty’ to Britain and (he Allies {iiid passed a resolution: “That this meeting -requests the (Jovermiknit. to remove restrictions upon the Jugo-Slavs in the matter of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force; that the Uovermneuty devise means whereby the Jugo-Slavs may Join the Serbians at Salonika to light their direct national foes; that the Jugo-Slavs are prepared and willing to devote all theii energies to such essential industries and other work as the Minister of internal Affairs directs, but all work so done should be. at. the same rate of pay and under .similar conditions as pertain to the Kxpeditionary Force.’’ The meeting also passed a resolution expressing regret lhal the Slavonic resident.' of the Dominion should be classed in the
