Levin Bowling Club last Monday afternoon, representatives of Foxton, Levin and Shannon met mil it was decided to hold home-to-home matches during the present season, the iist match to ho played at Shannon, November 14, If no trophies are forthcoming', each club will subscribe towards geting a shield at the end of the season, and he club with the biggest aggregate will iiuve its name placed on the shield. Bl'i/es, .settees, cushions, picture.-, and dolls. French stall, Mrs Pickett and Mrs*. )!enni'ssv, assisted by Misses Heinmingsen, Terry, Hilhon, and Master Charles. Prizes, carved Morris chairs, pictures, and a lovely eiderdown quilt, tray cioths, dolls, etc. Sweet stall, Miss Ryan, assisted by Misses Dillon and Ryan. The sweets were all home-made and very delicious. Supper rooms, Miss Bonlield, assisted by Mesdamcs Condon, Retter, Gill, Butler, Kirkland, and McGrath. The shooting gallery was in charge of Messrs Rice, and Burke, and the Hoopla, Mr J. O'Regan. During the evening items were contributed by Mrs Butler, Miss Jones, Doris Carter, Nan Walter-sou, Esma Shaukland, and Olive Martin. The net results of the bazaar will not be known for a day or two.
