HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS.

The, annual High School sports were hold on the school sports ground yesterday, and were favoured with beautiful weather. The gathering was a most successful one, and splendid sport was witnessed, all the races lining keenly contested, and run off without a hitch. The events were supervised by the school staff, while members of the Board of Governors acted as judges, and Messrs Mclllvoy and 11. E. Bennett as timekeepers. Fleming, last year’s winner, again obtained the highest aggregate in the championship, the points awarded him being 20b while Powell came second with 14j, and Jensen third with 13. Miss 1). Kersel obtained the highest championship points aggregate in the girls’ events with a toiiil of 11. The primary schools' race was won outright by Terraco End, Weston being placed first.
