DEFINITE OFFER FROM THE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT, (Fbqk Ode Parmamentabt Reporter.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 24. Mr Massey si a tod in the lions., today Unit 1 1 io Imperial Government had made a definite offer for the output of cheese. lie would submit the price to a meeting of cheese producers next Wednesday. The price, was 9td f.o.b. The price offered for the butter output is 157s per cwt. It is understood these offers are regarded by tin* Government as final. Titov have to bo considered in the light of the grave difficulty in' procuring shipping space, unless the Imperial Government arranges shipping.
