FRENCH CABINET RESIGNS.
A CURIOUS SITUATION. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Received October 24, 11.0 a.m. PARIS, Oct. 23. Following a Cabinet Council M. PainJovo has tendered the Cabinet’s resignation. M. Poincare refused to accept the resignation, pointing out that the Chamber on Friday voted confidence in the Government. Ministers thereupon placed their resignations in the hands of the President of t.he Council, who will examine the situation.
