AMUSEMENT TAX.
AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATIONS CONCERNED. (Pas Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct, 23. , A deputation of representatives of Agricultural and Pastoral Associations waited on the Prime Minister regarding the opera, tion of the amusement tax, and suggested that if at agricultural and pastoral exhibitions all side shows were cut out, the amusement tax be done away with. The reply was that the tax could not be remitted, as' the money has to be provided.
