THE ROBBERIES ON THE MAORI.
(Pes Pbebs Asbooution.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 23. At the Police Court this morning Victor Fanning Fraser, charged with the theft of jewellery on tho steamer Maori on October 15, was convicted and sentenced to six months' imprisonment, cumulative upon a previous sentence of three months' imprisonment at Lyttoltoa for other thefts on tho Maori, in addition to a period of reformative treatment unserved.
