A Press Association message stales that at the Wellington Police Court this morning Charles Johnston, a Swede, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for having certain prohibited publications in fws possession, including copies of the International Socialist Review, Direct Action, and Ross's Monthly Magazine. , Accused is* a wharf labourer. "I say with the greatest confidence," said Chief Detective Boddam, "that this man is a dan nor to the community."
