LATER. THE SECOND DIVISION.
FIRST BALLOT ON OCTOBER. 29. (Peh Pbeß3 Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. Tho first ballot for tho Second Division lias been fixed for October 29th and thu names will be, gazetted alxmfc November 6th. Glass A of the Second Division row comprises 15.292 men. Since taking the last ballot there havo been accretions numbering 1274 from tho First Division. These will bo called up by Gazette without, a ballot. It is expected that Class A, with further accretions during the next two months, will provide sufficient men for three ballots.
