GENERAL HAIG’S REPORT.

General Sir Douglas Haig reports: Tho Irish troops made a successful raid northwestward of Bullecourt. There was considerable hostile artillery lire during Hie night in the neighbourhood of the YprcsStaden railway.
ARTILLERY STILL ACTIVE. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. LONDON, Oct. 15. Sir Douglas. Haig reports: Hostile raiders., eastward of 'Shrewsbury Forest were repulsed. Tlie hostile artillery is more active in. the neigh bom rhood of Lens and Nieuport. There is nvuch aerial activity, and four German machines have been brought down. LONDON, Oct. 16. , A French communique says there is a violent artillery action in the region of the plateau between Villos and Craonno.
