Such a provision at a reasonable tariff will no doubt be appreciated by those concerned, and an indication of this is already supplied by the enquiries that have been already received, and it is evident that the home will soon be fu'.ly occupied. The building, situated within easy reach of the Square, is a largo twostoried structure, containing- accommodation for 15 families, in addition to which there are a number of single apartments on the large front balcony. The home is comfortably furnished throughout, and tho ample grounds surrounding it make it ideal for the. purpose which the W.C.T.U. have m view and that the Willard Home will prove a success will be the general-wish of 'Hie officials controlling the Homo are as follows:—President, Airs Crabb; treasurer, Mrs E. ', | Tho official opening of tho home took place this afternoon in the presence of a.' large attendance, addresses being delivered by the Mayor (Mr J. A. Nash), and Mrs, Crabb (president-of the Home). The Awapuni orchestra was present, and supplied an. enjoyable musical programme, which, with j afternoon tea, helped much to tho success, of the function.
