DUTCH TRAWLER WITNESSES THE BATTLE. SIX LARGE GERMAN SHIPS. AND TWENTY TORPEDOERfi ALL TURN TAIL ON SIGHTING THE BRITISH. Received Januarv 26. 1.45 p.m LONDON, Jan. 25. The captajn of the Dutch trawler Erica states that at 9.30. when 120 miles from Heligoland, six large German ships accom--panied by twenty torpedoers appeared. Simultaneously the British fleet came up and the Germans immediately went right about face. The British opened fire and projectiles fell like rain. "We saw a German battleship sink. The rest retired fighting. They were able to damage the British ships though not seriously. The Germans were soon out of sight with the British in pursuit."'
