HEAVY SEA ON THE BA£. (Bt Tklbobaph.) (Special to "Standard.") FOXTON, July 24. Wednesday: Arrived, Kennedy from Greymouth. Sailed, Kennedy for Tarakohe. Thursdayj Arrived, Putiki from Westport via Wanganui. Friday: Putiki for Westport sailed, but returned to port on account, of the heavy 93a on the bar. Arrived : Queen of the South from Wellington: Waverley from Greymouth. To sail: Putiki and Waverley for Westport; Queen of the South for Wellington. A north-west moderate gale with a heavy sea oh the- bar makes it doubtful if the vessels can leave port to-night.
