Old DarlingTiurst jail has been opened to public view and thousands of visitors daily display great morbidity in securing mementoes of the gallows and condemned cells. There has been such a rush, especially by women, to stand on the gallows trapdoor that the officials have been compelled to warn them of the fear of a collapse. The press protest against this morbidity mongering.'
