GOLFERS UNDER FIRE.

(TO THI IDITOR.) Sir,—l am told that on two different occasions this season undoubted proof has been forthcoming of bullets fired on the rifle range striking the groyne green, and that the circumstances, were reported to tfw committee, who have apparently taken r.c. action. If these facts are correct, and are forthcoming at some subsequent inquest, it seems to me that the golf committee will have something to explain awav.—l am. tic. MEMBER OF MANAWATU COLF CLUB.
