WEDDING BELLS.
TALLOTT-KNIGIIT. '"p Wednesday a very quiet biit pretty wedding was solemnised at All Saints' Church, Palmerston North, the contracting parries bring Amy Beatrice, second anil younger daughter of the late Mr William Knight a?;d Jlrs Knight, of Newbury, and Thomas Harold Edwin, only of Mr and Mrs Edwin Taliott. of Glen Oroua. The Rev. 11. (I. Rosher was the officiating clergyman. Mr Nay lor pretftlcd at the brgtfn. The bride, who was srjvcn away by her I'rotiH r-i; : -law, Mr 1". Grace, of Sandon, war daintily gowned in white ivory satin draped with ninon. and beautiful Honiton ; oint lace on the corsage and .skirt. She were t'.:-,• orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and ca tried a thowar bouquet of Miring_ flowers, ami maidenhair fern, which completed a beautiful toilette. Miss Talbtt. sister of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid. She w;'s smartly gowned in a cream sarin, veiled with lemon-coloured nir.on. and violei velvet hat. and carried a bouquet of narcissi and violets. Little Miss Dorothy Grac?, niece of the bride, was also in attendance carrying a basket of flowers and looking very sweet in her white embroidery frock. Mr J. Knight, brother of the bride, performed the duties of best man. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a pearl and diamond 'ring, and to the bridesmaid a topaz and pearl ring. The little flower girl received an initialled brooch, and the bridegroom received from the bride a gold watch chain. Mrs Knight, mother of the bride, wore a handsome black satin costume, with hat of black velvet trimmed with fur and black ostrich tips. Mrs Taliott. km!her of the bridegroom, wore a black ta dor-made costume, with black hut trimmed with fur. The ceremony over, the party motored our to the residence of Mrs Knight, where a reception was held, and the bride and bridegroom received the congratulations of their friends. After the usual toasts were duly honoured, the happy couple left by motor en route for the South Islarifl. where the wedding tcur will be spent. Ihe bride travelled in a navy blue tailormade costume, with smart hat of tangerine velvet lined with black satin. The presents, which were numerous and valuable. Testified to the popub.ritv of the bride and bridegroom. Mr and Mrs Tallott's future home will be at Glen Oroua
