James Queen travelled down Wairoa river to Helensville on Sunday night, his cabin mate'being an elderly Maori named Mihaka. Tho detectives wore inexorable, and on feeling tho "sore" foot found 10 sovereigns. Mihaka was immediately arrested. At the Court he was remanded for a wcok.
