NEW METHOD OF DETECTING CRIME.
MURDERER PHOTOGRAPHED ON VICTIM'S EYE. (Br Electric Telegraph—Coptrigiit.) (Per Press Association.) NEW YORK, March 3. The photograph of the eye of a girl who had been clubbed to death lias been taken at St. Nicholas cemetery, Chicago, by the police authorities with the object of gaining a clue to the murder. A foreigner named Petras has been acetified of the crime. The motive was believed to be .jealousy. assert that the Vetina of the eye will probably show the person who committed the crime if he were visible to the girl before she became unconscious.
