(Per Press Association 1 WELLINGTON, March 2. A conference was held this morning between Hons. W*. F. Massey and R. jl. Rhode? and representatives of the Auckland and Wellington Chambers of Commerce and the L nion Company, regarding the ban F ranciseo arid Vancouver mail ser- \ ices. Ihe discussion centred round a flat rate for carriage of dairy produce from all New Zeaiand ports, more refrigerating space on steamers trading between New Zealand. 'Frisco and Vancouver, and alteration m booking ahead for space. The result- is that a representative of the I'nion Company is to meet representatives of the ( hamber of ( onimercc to thrash out details wuh them.
