PALMERSTON NORTH LEIDERTAFEL.
ANNUAL MEETING
The members of the Palmerston North Liedertafel held their annual meeting last evening. Tho report and balance sheet, which showed that the society was in a good position, were adopted.' The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr R. A. Fuller: vice-president, J. L. Barnicoat: lion, secretary, Mr S. E. Carson; hon. treasurer, Mr R. A. Fuller; eohimittee. J\Murray, G. F. D. Watson, and J. Rogers; lion, librarian, Mr W. Jewitt: hon. auditor, Mr G. C. Iveeble; hon. pianist. Miss S. Bett. Mr M. Cohen kindly consented to act as conductor during the absence of Herr Berger and it was decided to hold practices on Tuesday evenings.
