There is at present on view in Mr C. P. Nash's window in Coleman Place the handsome gold cup given as a trophy with the recent Wanganui Cup. which was won by Mr A. R. Durrant'u Sinap-s. The cup. which is of solid gold, it> a beautiful specimen of the goldsmiths art. It bears the inscription: ■"Presented by W. Duncan, Esq.. Wanganui Jockey Club. 1913; won by A. K. Durrani. ' 'I he words '"Wanganui Jockey Club ' are surmounted bv a horse-shoe. Jhe stand has a silver plate and boars the following inscription: •'Sinapis. St. Ambrose—Prologue; trainer, H. Fletcher." Mr Durrant may probably be settling in Paimerston North in a short time. DANNEYIK KE MEETING.
