A fire at Crookwell destroyed premises occupied by Furner Brothers, storekeepers; Denning, a cabinet-maker; and Kershaw, a news-agent; and Furnor. an auctioneer. The damage- is estimated at £14.000. All, except Denning, were in?ured. The building belonged to the Methodist Church Trust.
