HOME RULE ENVOYS.
THEIR ARRIVAL IN PALMERSTON. -■■■
Messrs Redmond and Donovan, tho Home Rule envoys, arrived in Palmerston at 11 a.m.this morning, having left Hastings at 6.30 a.m. They were driven over by Mr lan Simpson. At the Empire Hotel they were met b v the local committee, and welcomed «n their behalf by Mr E. 0. Hurley. They were entertained at lunch there, and' subsequently visited the Presbytery, where theysaw Archbishop Redwood and : Father Costcllo. Subsequently they-proceeded to the railway station and'caught the Now Plymouth express, travelling as far as "Wanganui with the Hon. Goo. Fowltls. jlho motor trip was done in record time, about four hours,. despite a stop at Dannevirke for a.puncture. _ Mr Hazelton, M-P-, who will deliver an address in this town to-mor-row night on.Home Rule, arrived in 'J'almerston by the train from Hastings this afternoon. He was met at .-the station -by the Mayor, who welcomed him on behalf of the town, and liy Mr E. 0. Hurley on behalf of the local committee, 'members of which wore also present.. Mr Hazelton will lie the finest of Mi' McNab, who.tonight will entertain him at dinner, also the Mayor and members of the local management committee. Subsequently, between 8 'and 10 p.m., Mr McNab'6 residence will be open to wallers on Mr Hazelton.
