The following particulars with referonce to the Manawatu group of the Ter- • ritorial Force arc published for the information of'the general public:— The Manawatu group consists of areas No. 21. 22. 23, and 24, in charge of Lieut. F. 0. Hume; headquarters, Drill Shed. Wanganui. Area No. 21, consisting of the counties of Wanganui (west of the Turakina River) and Waitotara (south of the Kai Iwi and an east and west lino from it through Pt. 880, to the Wanganui River), is in charge of Arca-Sergt.-Major G. AValker; headquarters, Drill Shed, Wanganui. Area No. 22, consisting of the counties of Rangitilcei, Wanganui (east of the •Tiirakina River) and Kiwitea (N. of 40 deg. E. Long.), is in charge of Area-Sergt.-Major Brightliug; headquarters, Hunterville. ■ • " Area No. 23, consisting of the counties Kiwitea (S. of 40 deg.- E. Long,), Poliangina, Oroua, and Manawatu (N. of andE. and W. lino through Taikoria. Hill) is-in Charge of Arcil-Sci'gt.-Major J._ Morrison; headquarters, Drill Hall, Feilding. Area No. 24, consisting of the counties ,of Kairanga, Manawatu (S. of and E. and W. line through Taikorea Hill) and Horowhcnua is in charge of Arca-Sergt.-Major E. C. Dovcy; headquarters, Palmerston North.
