A very peculiar Occurrence was witnessed last "Wednesday morning in Mr John Morgan's-hay paddock at Aratapu (Auckland). A number* of hands were busily employed haymaking in >a 10-acre paddock adjoining the West Coast toady, when a whirlwind, started sfbout midway across the. paddock at the rear end.
