MELBOURNE, Dec. ,30. Both the Shipowners' Federation and the Federated SeameA have notified the President of the Arbitration - Court that they are agreeable to accept a provisional agreement which grants an all-round increase of ten shillings a month in and fixes overtime at the rate of. one and sixpence, instead of a shilling and one and threepence previously ruling and concedes preference to unionists. The seamen asked for £1 a month increase. A conference will be held to endorse the -provisional agreement as a' new fixed agreement. .*■■■■ - ■•-'
