INFLUENZA AMONG HORSES.
A WEST COAST EPIDEMIC. | It has been reported to the Hon. A. R. Guinness that a severe epidemic has occurred amongst horses in the Greymouth He was asked to interview the'' Hon. T. Mackenzie (Minister for Agriculture) with a view of having a duly qualified veterinary surgeon sent to Greymouth at once. In reply to his representations, Mr Mackenzie states that instructions have been given for a veterinary surgeon to proceed at once from Christ: church to Greymouth. It is understood that the ailment from which the animals are suffering is influenza.
