ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(PEB PSEBB ASHOOMTION.) DUNEDIN, June .30. William Porteous, aged about sixty, was found dead on the railway line near St Leonard's station at daylight th's morning. He is known to have travelled from Dune3in by the first tram, and it is surmised he tried to alight at St. Leonard's before the train stopped and that his skull was fractured by the cowcatcher; -
