BRITAIN INTEREST TO TERMINATE. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright;) (Per i j ress association.) LONDOK, April 12. Mr McKinnon Wood, Under-Secretary for the Foreign Office, replying to Mr Douglas Hall, said tho Egyptian Government's .'ntcntion to abide by the Assembly's decision has been reached after consultation with Sir Eldon Gorst, and with his consent, but tho Imperial Government was nowise influenced by the decision. If the Egyptian Government did not extend the concession the British Government's interest in the Canal Company would terminate with tho concession.
