A good afternoon's play was indulged in on the bowling green on Wednesday. Two very interesting inatchcs took place. Messrs J. Olesen and G. Paton played a well-contestcd game with Messrs Roos and 11. Knowles for the Stansell Feathers. The latter,, who are the holders, scored 22 points to the former pair's 21, thereby retaining that coveted trophy. A good game was also played for the Dixon Pins. Messrs J. Mitchell and W. H. Gunning (the holders) were defeated by seven points by Messrs W. Clayton and J. Roach, who scored 21 points to the former's 14.
On the tennis lawns the competition for the trophy presented by Messrs Murray and Ford was again resinned. Miss Mason succeeded in beating Miss R. Stansol! by one game, which brings her a sstep nearer the desired goal.
