FIRES.
(Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, April 7. Fires last night destroyed a Chinese laundry owned by W. Sandlant and insured for £250 in the State and £50 in the Standard, also a dwelling at Makarika owned by J. Parker and occupied by Leroy. It was insured for £195 in the National.
