NAPIER, April 4. The Council of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce to-night resolved to communicate with all the Chambers of Commerce in the North Island, with a view to ascertaining whether they are favourable to the formation of a league for the purpose of endeavouring to get the whole of the North Island Members of Parliament to combine to obtain a measure of fair plav for the North Island in the matter of railway management and expenditure generally.
