ATHLETICS.
THE PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. (Pee Peess Association.) GREYMOUTH, March 16. Thero is a large attendance at the athletic championship and Hiberian sports meeting at Victoria Park. The weather is perfect for athletics. The 100 yards championship was won by J. in ten seconds, beating Morris (Wellington) and Trembath (Gore), who ran close up. The other starters were McWhirter and Dorrean.
