HIMATANGI v. SANDON-OHAKEA.

The Sandon-Ohakea Rifle Club fired a friendly match with Himatangi Club on Saturday on the Himatangi rango, and at the finish of the final' rango thqir aggregate was 20 hotter than their opponents. After the match the members of the Sandon-Ohakca team were entertained by Mr and Mrs H. G., Hammond, and a very enjoyable evening was spent with the" host and hostess of Oroua Downs. Although the weather conditions were very unfavourable and a tricky easterly wind was blowing across the range, the average of 85 for the winning team is a very creditable performance, especially by the younger shots, sonic of -whom had only handled a rifle a few times before.
