WATER FOR LONDON.
A VAST SCHEME.

LONDON, March 13.
The London Water Board proposes a scheme which will cost sixty-two millions to supply London till 1941, when four hundred and twenty million gallons per day may be required, which will provide thirty-five gallons per day for twelve million people. The now works will necessitate an intake upon the Thames above Staine3.
