STOCK REPORTS. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Taihapc sale held on Wednesday:—Wo had a very heavy yarding of sheep and cattle. There was a large attendance of buyers, and prices were quite equal to those ruling elsewhere. As' at other centres, poor owes wore hard to quit, while anything good met with ready sale. The entry of cattle included a number of good coloured cattle, fori,which there was a fair demand. A line of- Romney ewes on account of "Mr.;-:Fannin- realised 13s 6d, f.m. ewes 7s-to" 8s,■ cull ewes 3s to ss, 2 and 4-th wethers 12s to 12s 3d, good mixed lambs 7s 6d, medium ewe lambs 7s, 3-year steers £4 18s, fat cows £5 ifcs.

Fat lambs sold wn'i, heavyweights being rather firm. Fat cattle were easier, and pigs met with a dull sale. Fat sheep were firm. Store cattio were in improved demand, mikl J;>ii v cows sold well. The entry >t store was made up principally 'if wecheis and ewes, lambs being in smaller proportion than of late. There was very gcvd cemand, and prices showed litt'i. ; no change.

The yarding of fat Jambs was r.i t as large as last week, totalling 8784, and they were somewhat uneven in ij;;.i!ity. For breeding ewes there was a g'jvi demand throughout, the Sale of heavyweight freezers and tegs meeting 'with keener competition and being rather firmer in price, while other sorts sc Id well up to last' week's rates. Of fat sheep, the larger proportion being oves, there was a good demand throughout, sales being both for export and loial consumption. Last week's rates were fully maintained, good wethers selling rather better. Range of prices:—Prime wethers, 15s 6d to 19s; extra, to 20s 6d ; others, 13s 7d to 15s; prime ewes, 12s 6d to 14s lid; others, 7s 9d to 12s. The entry of fat cattle totalled 353 head, the bulk being of moderate quality. The sale was a dull one. and prices were easier by about 6d per 1001b. There was a fair yarding of store cattle, including o Southland consignment. There was an improved demand, and yearlings made i 25s to 355; 15 to 18-months. £2 Is Bd, £2 14s Id ; 2vr steers, £3 to £3 17s 6d , 2yr heifers, £3 19s 6d; 2£yr steers, £4 10s; 3yr steers, £5 15s; 3yr heifers, £4 10s to £4 13s; and clr'y cows, 37s to £5 7s 6d. Dairy cows made £3 10s to £8. The entry of fat pigs was good, and they met with dull demand on last, week's rates. The large yarding of stores was difficult to sell. i
