AUCTION SALES. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., sell Mr Vautier'e superior dairy herd at their yards, Palmerston North, on Tuesday next. As the vendor is giving up dairying every lot offered, with the exception of horses, will be sold absolutely without reserve.

At the Fcilding sale on Friday there will be a very large entry of sheep, including a lino o( a. thousand wether lambs on behalf of Mr E. Short and 1200 Lincoln ewes from the Flock House Estate.

Buyers arc given a final reminder of the sale of assigned stock at No 13, Broad street, to-morrow, at 1.30. The sale is without reserve, as the lease terminates this week. The stock consists of drapery, crockery, stationery, clocks, watches and fancy goods. This offers a good opportunity for the thrifty housekeeper to buy many useful articles at her own price.

The Manawatu Auctioneering Co. sell at the mart, No. 1. Cuba street, on Thursday at 12 noon peaches, apples, pears, tomatoes, etc. Th'c sale will commence at 12 o'clock instead of at 1 p.m. as usual, as the firm have a sale at No. 13, Broad street, at 1.30.

Harry Palmer is still receiving some first-class consignments of fruit at his mart and to-morrow, at 1 o'clock he will offer a very nice line of nectarines, poaches, apples, plums, greengages, etc. Produce, furniture and sundries will also be sold. Those in need of good fruit should make a point of attending the sale.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., hold their horse sale on Saturday. A special line of 30 broken and unbroken draughts, half-draughts, hacks and ponies, on behalf of Mr Sebley, of ' Porangahau.' is offered.
