A BANK CLERK FIRED AT.
(Peh Press Association.) HAMILTON, Feb. 8. Word has been received in Hamilton that a bank clerk from the local bank, while proceeding to the Ohaupo stock sale with a bag of money, was crossing Mystery Creek, when he was fired at from a chimp of ti-tree, receiving a charge of shot full in the face. A companion with him drove him back to the Waikato hospital. There are no further details.
