AUCTION SALES

At Mr Ullctt's sale at No. 237, Main street East, on Wednesday at 1 p.m., there will be offered a unique little collection of curios, including mounted" horns, boar's head, walrus tusk, Spanish knives, 6words, ostrich eggs, etc., besides a very fine sideboard, lovely antique duchess pair, polished rimu dining table, weaver organ and the usual furniture and effects found in a six-roomed residence. The goods will be on view to-night from 7 to 9, also from 11 on Wednesday morning. There will also be offered one horse, trap and harness, and a half-draught mare (aged, but in good working condition). Tile flag will be flying on the premises. The sale, which is without reserve, will be conducted by tho Manawatu Auctioneering Co.

Mounsey and Co. wish to draw the attention of our readers to the unreserved sale of furniture and effects they are conducting to-morrow at tho residence, 32, Church street, near the Opera House,on behalf of Mrs Wighton; The house is very well furnished with furniture of every description, being well kept and in excellent order. A glance over the particulars of sale advertised with this issue will suffice to show householders and furnishers that it will be an excellent opportunity to buy furniture at their own prices, as every line in the house must be sold. The piano is a very fine instrument, nearly new land by best maker. The sale being so close to town should be well attended.

On Thursday at 1.30 p.m. the Manawatu Auctioneering Co. will conduct & sale of assigned stock at No. 13, Broad street, just off tho Square. The goods consist of drapery, crockery, cutlery, clocks, watches, jewellery, stationery, shop fittings, type writer, etc. The goods are to be sold without reserve as the lease terminates this week.

Mounsoy and Co. have been instructed by Mr J., Olsen, who is leaving the district, to sell the whole of his superior and high-class household furniture, magnificent piano, the 'well-known Jersey cow and heifer, sundries, etc., a.t his residence on the corner of Ferguson and Hereford" streets, on Tuesday next, commencing at 1 p.m. Full particulars of the various articles will appear in a later issue.

The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., sell Mr Walter Curtis' dairy herd at the farm, corner of Boundary and Rongotea-Longburn roads, on Monday next.

Harry Palmer advertises a clearing sale of furniture, to be held on the premises, No. 15. Terrace' street (nearly opposite school), on account of Mr Smith. A list of the goods, which are numerous and of first-class quality, will be found in the auction columns on page 8. .
