Mr A. Harding, of "Siberia," has just shipped a fine 4-th Romney ram, "Siberia II.," to the order of Mr J. Close, "Ngaheia," Bay of Islands. The animal has a compact body, and in points generally is a (credit to the Siberia stud flock.
Mr W. Rimmcr has disposed of his cottage and % -acre section to Mr Templeton
- Mr Robert Hart is about to erect a fine ten-roomed house on the section he lately purchased in the township. Messrs A. Bauckham and Co. were the successful tenderers for the job.
The local Salvation Army officers having been transferred to Victoria, Capt. Trenwith, of Rotorua, will take charge on Thursday. It is the intention of the Corps to hold a reception. Household words in this locality are Peacock's strawberries and Mai's honey, both of which are Pohangina products, and are a credit to the producers.
