The Bishop of Limerick in a pastoral condemns the alliance of Irish Catholic Commoners with English parties because many English politicians are avowed atheists and Socialists, especially in view of the education question. THE "MOLLY MAGUIRES." MR. O'BRIEN SUGGESTS A CONFERENCE. Received Februarv 8. 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 7. Mr O'Brien states he has re-entered politics because a campaign of vengeance against twenty of his friends took the form of packing tho convention for the selection of candidates with delegates from specially manufactured branches of the United Irish League. He was willing for a round table conference to adjust differences on condition that the "Molly Maguires" are removed from the mastery of the Nationalists' funds.
INFLUENCING THE PREMIER. Received February 8, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 7. . Mr Lloyd George and Mr Mastcrman, who have been staying at Nice, interviewed Mr Asquith at Cannes. Mr Lloyd George's presence in the Riviera has aroused much comment. The Unionists interpret it as an effort by the Radical extremists to influence Mr Asquith's decision regarding his policy with the House of Lords.
