Nominations for all events and Entries for Maiden Hack Race and Parewanui Hack Scurry cloeo with the Secretary at the Office of the Club, Bulls, on FRIDAY, 3rd December, 1909, at 9 p.m. Weights for the Firet Day's Events will bo declared on FRIDAY, the 17th December, 1909, and for the Second Day's Evonts at the Office of the Club at 7.30 on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for the First Day's Events will close with the Secretary, at the Office of the Club, Bulls, on MONDAY, 20th December, 1909, at 9 p.m., and foe the Second Day's Events at the same place, at 9 o'clock, on the evening of the First Day. PENALTIES AND RULES. PENALTIES.—The following penalties shall be carried by the winner of any race after declaration of weights: — Of the value of 50 sove, 61b; of any race or races of the collective value of 100 sovs, 81b;, 150 sovs, 101b; 300 sovs and over, 141b, provided that any horse handicapped at Bsfc lOlbs and over will carry only half theee penalties. This rule does not apply to Hurdle and Welter Races. Hurdle" and Welter Racee. —The winner of any race after declaration of weighte to carry a penalty of lOlbs, of two or more races 171bs.
